Gospel Boot Camp – Aug 2017

Thursday Aug 3rd - Saturday Aug 5th

Immerse yourself in something new by learning the art of singing, dancing and performing in a Gospel Choir from one of WA’s experts. No previous Gospel experience is required; you just need your voice and a sense of fun!

Singers will rehearse on Thursday and Friday evenings in St Paul’s Chapel, John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School, Mirrabooka. Led by the talented Perry Joyce, they will learn four Gospel songs, along with the accompanying moves – Gospel is all about motion!

A Saturday rehearsal will take place in the Salvation Army Fortress in Northbridge, alongside professional musicians who will make up the accompanying band.

At the culmination of these rehearsals, a performance of four songs will feature as part of The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appreciation Concert. This will take place in Perth College on the Saturday evening.

This is an opportunity for singers to try something different, while have fun and making new friends at the same time. Join PCI as we spread the joy of Gospel Singing to a wider audience!
